About Us

Purple Bit is a professional services firm dealing with designing, implementing and delivering of Web & Mobile applications.

Purple Bit was founded by three young engineers. The three always had a passion for building relevant products in challenging markets, using cutting edge technologies. Purple Bit allows us to do all that directly with our clients, no middlemen involved. That cuts down on time-to-market, resulting in superior products.

The company offices are located in Tel Aviv, Israel, allowing our close-knit team to work hard and adapt to change quickly. Our clients, however, are world-wide.

Our management team:

Edan Maor (CEO)

Edan has been programming since the age of 12. After completing the challenging "Mamram" programming course in the IDF, he served as a programmer in an elite cyber unit. 3 years later he was promoted to a team leader position in the unit. Later on, he turned to completing his BA degree in Computer Science, and opening a small start-up company. Today he is at the helm of Purplebit.

Ofir Ovadia (CTO)

With over 8 years of hands-on of experience in programming and software development, Ofir is the CTO and the technological authority at Purple Bit. His experience includes, but is not limited to: The IDF’s "Mamram" programming course; leading a software development team in one of the IDF’s top information security units; and excelling in his Computer Science BA degree studies.

Yuval Cohen (VP BizDev)

Yuval completed a BA in Computer Science from Israel’s Technion Institute, as well as an MBA from Tel Aviv University. Yuval is mostly busy with making customers extra happy. This saves him time finding more customers. In the past, Yuval served in the IDF and during his 6 years of service, has developed embedded software, led a software team and eventually took on a system engineer role.
